About WORKSHOP WEEKEND:
Join us on September 27th or 28th at 19100 Allendale Avenue, Saratoga for the SF Bay Area's 3rd Annual Magic Yarn Project Workshop Weekend! Volunteer with us to achieve our goal of creating 200 magical wigs to be given to local children fighting cancer. Register to volunteer at one of three sessions offered during workshop weekend. String and style yarn with friends or family to create these whimsical, character-themed wigs.

Simply sign up, show up and we'll help you create, every step of the way!
Cost: FREE!
Experience: NO CRAFT experience necessary! If you can string yarn and tie a knot, you're good! Pre-crocheted beanies will already be provided. You just add the hair and embellishments!
Age: Age 8 and up are invited to attend
Duration: Wigs take about 2 hours to make
Sign Up: Space is limited, so walk-ins are discouraged. Please sign up in advance! (see the link on the site)
Dates: Friday and Saturday Sept 27 & 28th 2024
Sessions: 3 time slots are available to choose from--on two different days:
Friday evening: 6:00-8:00pm,
Saturday: 9:00AM-11:00AM & 12:30pm-2:30pm
Group Volunteering: We'd like to ensure all can attend that wish to! Please limit your group size to 5. (If you have a special situation, please reach out to us)
